Driving to Batu Pahat was a great experience. All along the North-South Expressway, it was just like any other highway but once we turned into the exit of Ayer Itam, the excitement began. We discussed how the name Batu Pahat was formed and could only guess that it had something to do with chisels and rocks. Indeed, its history is that the Siamese chiseled the rocks to get fresh water for their seafare.
I am not very sure what the name of the first town that we drove by is anymore, but along the way, we saw name of places like Parit Raja Darat, Parit Jawa, Parit Sulong and few other Parits. We found it a bit funny that all the names started with PARIT. Do they have so many drains there?
We continued our journey and it became even funnier. Saw a signboard turning left to Tongkang Pecah! What a name! Maybe there used to be a wrecked Chinese ship that sank into the sea. That’s not it. As we were getting nearer to Batu Pahat, we saw another signboard at a junction to Pantai Minyak Beku. I started to wonder how one can have a picnic and swim at a frozen oil beach. It was hilarious.
The trip started well and progressed wonderfully. Had a great time there with the people from J.R Courtenay (M) Sdn Bhd.

Hey all,
Just figured out blog is one of the most important elements in our website. Thus, blog must come first. But I haven't thought of what we wanna put down here.
So, maybe we should just start welcoming all visitors and make them feel comfy so they'll come back soon.
You know we wanna make this site like a profesional personal site with FREE information and downloads. Most interesting downloads will come from Sze coz Eunice doesn't have much to share in that sense. ;)
We're still in holiday mood. X'mas lunch at Legend Hotel was not 100% a great idea. It was mainly because of the crowd. The queue to the food was extremely long but hey, I got my brussel sprouts! My friend in England asked how I managed to smuggle that in. Don't say urgh! to brussel sprouts k?
We'll keep you guys posted with life happenings. That's inclusive of work happenings too. So check out the website for more logic stuff soon. I think that'll be our first column - LOGIC NOTES !
